Dr. Tyurin Anatoly Nikolaevich is an accomplished geologist and academic with over four decades of experience in the exploration and evaluation of mineral deposits, specializing in building materials, barites, zeolites, phosphorites, gypsum, and ore gold. He graduated from Kazan State University in 1981 with a degree in Historical Geology and Paleontology, qualifying as a geological engineer. His early career included geological survey and stratigraphic research across Russia, followed by senior roles in Tsniigeolnerud and the Tatar Geological Exploration Department of Tatneft, where he has contributed to the discovery and assessment of more than 20 mineral deposits, including several of federal significance.
Dr. Tyurin has authored and co-authored 37 geological reports, 30 of which he led as the responsible executor, and played a key role in the approval of reserves at both the Tatarstan Mining and Processing Plant and the Russian Gas Processing Plant. His contributions earned him the State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan in Science and Technology (1998) for the discovery of new deposits. In 2003, he defended his PhD in Geological and Mineralogical Sciences (Lithology) on zeolite-bearing rocks and has since expanded his expertise into applied research, patents, and technical innovations in mineral utilization.
Since 2018, Dr. Tyurin has combined his professional work with academia as an Associate Professor at Kazan Federal University, where he teaches regional geology and mineral resources. He is the author of six monographs, over 30 scientific publications, five patents, and several technical specifications and practical guides.
